well that's debateble.
I got a fantastic 5+ weeks from stamkos, but now ima have to scrounge the free agent pool. while you still got Giroux who could get hot and at the very least will end up with far more points than stammers 23.

head to head match up every week, I am in a big hole now with my overall record to start the year. T. Hall and Letang going down for extended periods of time have killed me. Luckily no one wanted to draft Av players beside Duchene so Landeskog and Stastny have been my boys

Man, that is disappointing.. and im not talking from a fantasy point of view, im talking from a Colorado avalanche hockey team point of view. I hope that he gets back soon he has been playing great so far this season.

Its not the best news but I think they are doign the right call by playing it safe with him, make sure he is 100% again, no need to rush him back, and then injury himself even worse.

We have the forward depth, and have played most of the season with missing parts from game to game, hopefully we can get a few more points while he is out.

Starting with Chicago, these 5 games are all against opponents that are close to or better than the Avs are, but none the less all very solid competition. If we can win 3 of the 5 it will be a huge statement. With the one we just got against Chicago, if we can just get 2 more it will be great for this team.

Of course I would love to see us sweep the home and home with the Wild, keep distance from them in divisional games. Always want to win but with this wild card system, you want to beat up on those 3rd/4th place teams in their division.

oh, don't get me wrong i completely agree with that, Its just too bad that he had issues this morning when skating from the injury, I was hoping that it was not going to end up being too bad of one. I would much rather he get fully healthy and come back after missing a few games then come back early and have to go down again for a longer time.

He should rest & rehab that injury to 100%. Those types of injuries can get worse with one hard hit and then he'd be out for a long time. We need his speed and talent on Team Canada
